The holiday season is in full swing! I just finished making a batch of holiday fudge, a family tradition. It brings back memories of my grandmother doing the same thing for all of us kids. Her fudge was made that much sweeter by the fact that we all knew (including Grandma) that our mothers would never approve! Things always seem to happen during the holidays and this year is no exception. Life has been exciting for Belfiglio Design as business has seemed to explode!
The first exciting news is that I have listened to the many requests for notecards of my work and am offering A SET OF NEW NOTECARDS! Each set consists of 12 notecards and envelopes, each of a different picture from my gallery. They are priced the same as the calendars: $18 per set, with $3 shipping/handling and applicable tax for a total of $21. Use the same downloadable form for the calendars but specify NOTECARDS on the form. If you want them sent somewhere as a gift, make sure to note that too.
OTHER NEWS! I have been invited to participate in the House Democratic Caucus Art Project which is a fancy way of saying I have been invited to exhibit "Almost Summer-Walla Walla" in the Washington State Capitol Building in Olympia, Washington! This is a huge honor and I am very excited. It will be hung in the Democratic Caucus Room for the duration of the Legislative Session beginning January 2012!
EVEN MORE NEWS! The pastel piece of the grapes "Blue Notes" has been sold and will soon find a new home in the United Kingdom! I have a new commission for a tall, narrow, acrylic work, of a grapevine not unlike some of my other signature grape pieces. And lastly, the 2012 calendars have been selling like hotcakes, so much so that I have actually had to do a second printing, so they are still available!
So as you can see, life has been hopping! As soon as I finish this commission, I will be working on pieces for the Spring miniature shows for the Parklane Gallery in Kirkland WA and Gallery North in Edmonds, WA for 2012.
So I will close by wishing all of you a very Happy Holiday Season filled with good things (and fudge...ah chocolate!) Thank you so much for your support, encouragement and patronage in 2011! I am sending you my sincerest best wishes for a wonderful (and creative!) 2012!
